Pirkka fourth in the European Championship events, Höljes.
We congratulate Pirkka to a fine effort that managed to run into fourth place in Höljes.
Pirkka also participated in the Norwegian race but had to unfortunately break early in the contest.
In Höljes it went much better. A puncture in the final qualifying heat when Pirkka was up in the lead and seemed to run against a good time did he unfortunately failed to qualify for a direct place in the A-final. The times from the previous heats were good enough to guarantee him a place in the B final.
Pirkka took alternative track directly and get some cars to follow him there. When Tom Daniel Tånevik who also drove an RX-8 later come out of the alternative track Pirkka managed to go up in the lead and secure a place in the A-final.
Both the B-and A-final where they run five instead of the normal three laps he had heat-related problems because of peripherals that can not evacuate heat, which affects engine performance adversely.
The A-final were Pirkka start from last place and had before him Enerberg, Castoral, Marklund, Håbjörg og Röyrås on the launch pad. Pirkka drove a little hesitant and when some goes into the option slot is Pirkka up to third place. When the Pirkka also drove in the alternative track, he manages eventually run into the fourth.
Congratulations Pirkka and the team to fourth place in the Championship race, where he met European elite and also congratulate him for the first and hopefully not the last score of the Championship table.
In Norway, now three out of five races have been run in the Norwegian Rallycross Championship and three of our customers is very good at so far.
John "Pirkka" Karlsson has made a comeback in a new Mazda RX-8 and the car is designed for Touring Cars regulations so that he can participate in the European Championship, this was not possible with the RX-7 as he drove past. Pirkka is now in third place, which is admirable in a newly built car and a supposedly easy rusty (OUPS) driver.
Henning Nyberg has so far run Pirkka old RX-7 and is currently second in the championship.
Our rookie in this context is Roy Vidar Skomedal as in a newly built white Mazda RX-7 in its second contest managed to drive home the victory in a very wet A-final.
We have completely forgotten to take care of the site where all time goes to building engines, but now we make an attempt to get us the necessary time. We ask in advance sorry if our English is not of the highest caliber, we are better at building engines;)
The season 2011 has started very well, in the Norwegian championship in rally, we have three customers currently located in positions 2, 3 and 5 of the championship after three races run.
Jan's RX-8 participates in the European Championship circus this weekend.
This weekend, Jan has lent the car to Ole Kristian Nøttveit to run a race at the European Championship Lydden Hill in England. Should be interesting to see how the car is in the EM context. Ole Kristian Nøttveit is not a bad driver but if he had run into on the car I know nothing about. Not clear if we will get continuous updates from John, who accompanies to England, but we will try to keep us updated as much as possible.

Jan Gabrielsen second in the premiere of NM in Backe.
Saturday 15 May was the season premiere of the Norwegian championship in hill climb. Jan Gabrielsen came off in his Mazda RX-8 and finished in second place, three tenths behind the winner equipage. A better location than in rallycross premiere last week.
Today, Sunday, May 16th will continue the Norwegian championship in hill climb in race two. We keep our fingers crossed that there will be a first place today.
EDIT: In the Sunday race, we have now received message that Jan with his Mazda RX-8 won the race. Thus, in Jan now lead the championship and we congratulate Jan and other team members.

Two engines from RotayPerformance on the podium.
Saturday, 8 May, the season premiere of the Norwegian championship in rallycross. Steinar Stokke who last year hired John Pirkka Karlsson's Mazda RX-7 this year has bought off the entire car and he began the season as he avlsutade the former, at the top of podium. January Gabrielsen came to the start of a brand new Mazda RX-8 and did not seem to have some teething problems with the bliss of the car because he came in third place. We congratulate the two Norwegian men to great performances this weekend. More pictures of the cars can you find in this PHOTO GALLERY!

Relaunch of the website.
Welcome to the reinvention of the page. For too long the page has been neglected maintenance and too much work on engines have affected the update rate. Bert-Ake Blennow have committed to in the time trying to help keep it updated. We work mainly with the Swedish side, but have decided to also create an English version of the same when more and more customers are coming from the continent. The English version, unfortunately, may wait for some time but it will.
